Ingredients
- Ingredients (for 10 bars):
- 5 bananas
- Peanut butter
- 200 g dark chocolate
- Maple syrup or cane sugar
- Finely chopped nuts β walnuts, almonds, peanuts
Instructions
Peel the bananas and cut them in half, then slice each half lengthwise so that each banana gives you 4 equal pieces.
Melt the chocolate using a double boiler or in the microwave.
Spread peanut butter over the flat side of each banana slice.
Sprinkle the peanut butter with finely chopped nuts and drizzle with maple syrup.
If you donβt have maple syrup, simply sprinkle a little cane sugar on top instead.
Carefully coat each peanut-butter-covered banana slice in the melted chocolate, trying not to let the nuts fall off. You can use kitchen tongs for this step.
Place the chocolate-covered banana slices on parchment paper, leaving some space between them so they donβt stick together.
Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes, until set.
